Better, Cheaper, Faster Futures For All

Now that Congress has passed the Telecommunications Act, a lot of people are walking around saying things like “quantum leaps forward” or “a new era.” Or my personal favorite: “jigga bytes of information.” The MBA mantra of the revolutionary telco legislation follows: The Telecommunications Act introduces competition. Competition should make things better, cheaper and faster. Therefore, your future should be better, cheaper and faster—at least the telecommunications aspect of it. But competitive advantages won’t come looking for you. You will, of course, need to seek out the advantages.
